Experiences:

 

One of the teachers went to drop off the students and three students take the school bus and the teachers were on bus duty. Another EA and I are waiting for kids at Kiss of Ride. They drop off the children for school each morning in front of the school.

 

I've worked with students of all different levels and abilities. I've worked with students individually and in small groups, helping them with their work, making sure they understand what they need to do, and giving them the confidence to do it on their own. I worked with teachers to create different learning styles and materials to fit each student's needs. I helped with classroom activities, kept an eye on students during breaks, and helped integrate students with special needs.

 

Competencies

As an educational assistant, I possess core competencies that are beneficial to all student's achievement. I am proficient in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and eager to learn. I have strong organizational skills, making sure that all resources and materials are easily accessible. Additionally, I am patient, empathetic, and flexible. I recognize and address students' unique needs and promote their social and emotional well-being.
